We will come back to the world of rockets
during our journey in the history of space conquest and we will see their evolutions, but it is impossible not to say a few words right away about reusable launchers that change our future.
So here is just a small glimpse of the magic.
If you watch movies about the conquest of space, you will see that astronauts took place in rockets that seen to us today very simple not to say scary.
However, it is thanks to this that we have rockets
today worthy of a science fiction movie and that we are witnessing an extraordinary evolution of rockets.
The New Shepard rocket of the company Blue Origin founded by Jeff Bezos was the first to bring back its launcher ( its rocket made a flight at 100 km of altitude).
After the flight the launcher came to land on the ground.
A month later another company called SpaceX managed to do the same thing, well…, not quite.
In fact, SpaceX retournes its launcher after placing 11 communication satellites in space. Simply put , SpaceX Falcon9 launch vehicle went much higher than Blue Origin.
SpaceX was created in 2002 by Elon Musk, this company is specialist in the manufacture and the launch of rockets and space shuttles.
Today, SpaceX is working on the Starship ( the largest rocket in the world: 120 meters high) that will allow humans to go to Mars.
The ability to return to Earth
all or a part of a launcher intact for reuse is crucial to reduce costs as much as possible and thus be able to multiply launches.
To conquer Space we need rockets but we also need courageous humans to be in those rockets
and open the frontiers of Space for us.
The first of them was Yuri Gagarin.
