Mars has a Sense of Humor!
In 2018, NASA’s InSight lander was en route to Mars when engineers noticed it was slightly off course. The culprit? A tiny thruster leak, like a cosmic fart, nudging the spacecraft astray. The team dubbed it the “burping thruster” and fixed it with a series of precise burns, landing InSight safely. The idea of a multi-million-dollar mission nearly derailed by a spacecraft’s “gas problems” had the control room chuckling for days. Mars, it seems, has a sense of humor!
