On May 27,2025, SpaceX’s giant Starship rocket, like a super tall space tower, blasted off from Texas with a big ROAR ! It was the ninth test flight, starring ship 35 and Booster 14-2, a booster that had flown before -talk about a recycling champ!

The rocket zoomed up, up, up into space, splitting into two parts like a cosmic banana. The booster tried some fancy flips in the air but went KABOOM over the Gulf of America -oops, it wasn’t supposed to do that! Meanwhile, ship 35 reached space, but it sprung a fuel leak and started spinning like a dizzy top.It couldn’t open its door to drop off fake satellites and sadly broke apart over the Indian Ocean with a big SPLASH !

Even with the mishaps, SpaceX learned a ton, like how to make their rocket even better for future trips to the Moon and Mars. Think of it like practicing for a big school play -sometimes you trip, but you keep getting better !
